Isaiah Washington joins, um, The Bionic Woman

Well, nothing like getting your butt canned from the hottest television show in years and then deciding your comeback role will be as a recurring character in Bionic Woman. But that is exactly what Isaiah Washington is doing for his career comeback…. sheesh. He will appear in a five episode arc in the show’s freshman season on NBC. And reportedly, NBC is in the planning stage of a new action/drama show which will presumably star Isaiah Washington, and is based on a story idea of his.

I am pretty surprised NBC wants to even touch him with a ten foot pole. But I feel most sorry for those who are already connected to the project now having to put up with him… not exactly the ideal castmate!

Sheesh is right…give the guy a break. Sorry is sorry is sorry…what do want…fortunately in this day and age you can’t run a spear through him to get your pound of flesh.

Puhleeeze! Move on stop IW hating…makes you look like you ate a barrel of sour apples.

I agree Ester, little do people know, Isaiah’s role in Grey’s weighed alot of weight on the success of the show and it’s going to be weird to not see him there, I mean come on already sorry is sorry at least he isn’t out there driving drunk. If we can give people praise out there for still walking the street with 2+ DUI’s and chasing people down with thier cars and going to jail and rehab like it’s vacation, then why can’t we praise Isaiah for taking responsibility for what he said and move on. Sheesh is right about how backward people think these days!!!!

I am looking forward to the Bionic Woman show… I was a fan as a child and I want my children to get to watch with me. Smile…. they think that everything I use to watch was cheesy at best. You know the old Gilligans Island and so on… Yes HA HA… anyway about Isaiah Washington, I loved Greys and I hated to hear all the trouble that went on. It seems no matter how GREAT a show is if something like this mess goes on the FOCUS is no longer on how great the story line is but it then turns into a public slam fest. I am glad he is gone and cant wait to see the writting of the new stories around him leaving. I think it was best to get rid of him just because the truth of it is those of us who dont really eat up the BAD NEWS, this fight that fight mess, of the stars on shows, really would just rather watch the shows and focus on that and over look the mess that they are into. I mean people that look up to the stars and look at them in some God like view are goofy. I know there are good stars that are good people but…. Everyone makes mistakes and really I feel we as parents should try and not let our children think that just because someone is VERY WELL PAID they are some kind of HERO. That all makes me sad. If everyone would find HEROS and people to look up to within their own lives the lives of the stars wouldnt sale so darn much. So really what happened between the OVER PAID stars behind the scenes doesnt make a hill of beans to me. I just grade the show not the stars on their own time.
